Credit Bureau

There are three credit reporting agencies that make up the Credit Bureau.  These three reporting agencies known as Equifax, Experian and TransUnion calculate a borrower’s credit score using their own different formulas.  Each score they generate is based on a consumer’s credit history.  Although each agency may rate a score differently the information that the score is pulled from should reflect the same.

The information on your payment history, employment history and general information is updated periodically.  All of the information reported rates your creditworthiness as a statistical score known as a FICO score.
